Additionally, the lenses are made from polycarbonate which offers superior optical clarity, and can withstand impact and the heat of the welding process. Miller’s welding helmets also have a built-in grind mode, allowing welders to quickly switch to grinding mode without having to change the lens. This ensures that welders are always protected from the sparks and debris created during the grinding process.
